Get ready to paddle, pedal, or row your way into the heart of the Petaluma River community! Whether you’re a seasoned water enthusiast or just looking for a fun way to explore the river, the Petaluma River Races are for you.

📍 Location: PARKING: River Plaza near TAPS (54 E. Washington Street)

SIGN IN, SKIPPERS’ MEETING, RENTALS PICKUP, LAUNCH: The Floathouse Petaluma, (Linked to public docks near 50 Water Street)

Event Details

• 9:00 am: Sign-in (and waiver signing)

• 9:30 am: Skippers’ Meeting

• 10:00 am: Race starts in the Turning Basin

What You Need to Know

• Crafts Allowed: Solo forward-facing crafts like kayaks and paddle boards, or rowing crafts (experienced rowers only).

• Course Options: Choose between a 2-mile loop or a 4-mile loop.

• Launch Locations: Turning Basin Docks or The Floathouse Docks.

Donations to The Floathouse, a project of the nonprofit Petaluma Small Craft Center, are welcome and tax-deductible.

Every solo craft rental for this event is just $35!

For just $35 for the duration of the event, reserve your kayak (Hobie pedal kayak or Ocean brand paddle kayak), stand up paddle board, or Hobie stand up pedal board, Schiller Water Bike or Hydro Bike at The Floathouse:
