A healthy community, like a healthy watershed, depends on what flows through it—and what we choose to protect. Watershed Community Gatherings bring people together over dinner at Aqus Café for thoughtful, face-to-face conversation.
These monthly gatherings create space to slow down and think more carefully about current issues and the media shaping public understanding. Participants share articles, books, or podcasts they find useful, then explore ideas in small-group conversations. The emphasis is on listening, curiosity, and learning from one another.
This is not a debate series or a policy forum. The conversations are grounded, local, and human, shaped by lived experience rather than talking points.
The format is simple: have a cup of tea, a glass of wine, or a beer, and engage in real conversation with people you may not otherwise meet. The goal isn’t agreement, but shared understanding and trust.
If you live, work, or spend time in Petaluma, you’re already part of the watershed. These gatherings offer a way to connect more thoughtfully—to the issues, to the place, and to one another.
Always the last Saturday of the month, 5-7pm
