Community & Digital Ministry Coordinator

This part-time temporary position (about 15 hours/week) is ideal for a digitally fluent, friendly and well-organized individual who enjoys using technology to connect people in meaningful ways during the pandemic’s restrictions on group gatherings. Using strong interpersonal and organizational skills, you’ll help develop a volunteer group to carry on many church activities, spending at least 2 hours on-site each Sunday supporting the staff and create/coordinate video church services using a blend of Facebook Live, Zoom and You Tube distribution streams. During the week, your time will be a blend of remote on-call hours or occasionally on-site hours at United Church of Christ Petaluma (UCCP), 825 Middlefield Road, Petaluma, to manage all forms of communication (email, phone, text, newsletter, and postal mail). Added responsibilities will include light bookkeeping and finance-related reporting tasks until volunteers are found to fill this need.

This position requires a HS diploma and at least one year of college experience as well as the ability to accomplish assigned tasks with little direct supervision.
