Kelliane Parker is a queer, Latinx poet whose chapbook, “Down the Foggy Streets of my Mind”
from Nomadic Press, is about her healing journey living with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Her
mission is to remove stigma and shame around survivorship and de-pathologize talk
about mental health. She has been featured in numerous anthologies, including the
Colossus series and “Light on the Walls of Life,” a tribute anthology to Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
She is a regular feature at Bay Area readings.
Dee Allen is an African-Italian performance poet based in Oakland, California who has been
active in creative writing and spoken word since the early 1990s. He’s the author of 7 books:
Boneyard, Unwritten Law, Stormwater, Skeletal Black (all from POOR Press), and Elohi
Unitsi (Conviction 2 Change Publishing) His two newest titles are Rusty Gallows (Vagabond
Books) and Plans (Nomadic Press). So far, he has fifty-five anthology appearances under his
Kimi Sugioka is a mother, educator, and poet. She earned an MFA from Naropa University and
has published two books of poetry, the newest of which is Wile & Wing, at Manic D Press. She
has been published in various anthologies and is the Poet Laureate of Alameda, California. She
believes that creating community through art is a revolutionary act.
