Richard Wolff is a Marxist economist and professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a visiting professor at the New School, New York. He has also taught at Yale University and the Sorbonne in Paris. Wolff is the author of several books, including Democracy at Work: A Cure for Capitalism and Economics: Marxian vs Neoclassical. He hosts a weekly radio show on WBAI in New York (Pacifica). We will be discussing ideas outlined in his new book, The Sickness is the System: When Capitalism Fails to Save Us From Pandemics and Itself.
