It all started in 1997 at the urging of her young daughter! Doris Duncan became involved in wildlife rehabilitation and in 2000 was hired as the first employee of Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue, and then quickly promoted to Executive Director. Doris will talk to us about the Rescue Center, and share its successes through their two-prong approach: Rescue, Rehablitate, and Release of the sick, injured, orphaned wildlife; and the Promotion, Understanding, Appreciation, Protection and Conservation of wildlife through both the Educational Outreach Program and advocacy efforts.
