The “Biggest Little Parade in Northern California” is the 42nd annual Penngrove Parade on Sunday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m. sharp on Main Street in Penngrove.
It’s as small-town America as you can get. You’ll see tractors, horses, floats, antique military Jeeps, bands and bicycle teams. And, it’s blissfully under one hour!
After the parade, enjoy barbeque, kids’ games and music by Train Wreck Junction in Penngrove Park, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. The menu offers old fashioned pit beef, BBQ chicken, beef sandwiches, oysters and hot dogs. Drinks and Lagunitas beer will keep you cool. Desserts will be available by Penngrove 4-H. Purchase barbeque tickets at the door.
Sorry, but dogs cannot enter the park (County health code), and outside food and drink are not permitted. Proceeds support maintenance and improvements to Penngrove Park, Clubhouse and Penngrove 4-H for the benefit of our community. For more information contact Kim Hanson 707-794-1516.
Parade entry forms will be accepted through June 29 at 5 pm. There’s no entry fee or theme, just fun. Applications are at JavAmore Café, 10101 Main Street, Penngrove or download it from www.penngrovesocialfiremen.org. Direct questions to Kim Hanson at 707-794-1516 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is the biggest annual fundraiser hosted by Penngrove Social Firemen, a non-profit 501(c)(3), to benefit the Penngrove community.
