Online: Writing with Marlene Cullen
Second Wednesday of the month.
June 10, July 8, August 12
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Aqus Writing Event facilitated by Marlene Cullen
Have a notebook and pen ready or a device you can type on.
Life is sometimes a maze, sometimes a jigsaw puzzle. We will write to navigate the maze and find pieces that fit together.
Think you aren’t a writer? If you can talk, you can write. Writing is just putting your thoughts on paper (or device).
We’ll gather from 6:30 pm to 6:45 pm. Entry will be locked at 6:45.
I’ll go over guidelines, suggest a writing prompt, and then we’ll write.
Guidelines for this freewrite style of writing.
Keep your pen moving. Don’t stop to think.
Write whatever is on your mind, it doesn’t have to make sense. Don’t worry about how it will sound.
Leave your inner critic at the door. Shrug off the editor that sits on your shoulder.
Marlene Cullen leads writing workshops and has produced a series of Write Spot books.
