LAUGHTER~PLAY YOGA for Health & Joy: Lighten Up and Thrive!

FREE INTRODUCTORY PLAY SHOP. Take a play break and discover the art of laughing “for no reason” in a warm, upbeat community. You will be led in easy, fun group activities, movement, clapping and chanting (not traditional yoga postures) that bring out your childlike playfulness and laughter. Suitable for all levels of fitness, may be done standing or sitting. Wear comfortable clothes for movement.

BENEFITS of laughter include: releasing  stress, relaxing, renewing energy levels and zest, improving health, strengthening immune system, improving circulation, and enjoying yourself.

Weekly ongoing play shops begin Thursday, March 1, 2:30-3:30 PM. $5.00 each meeting. Drop-ins OK….come to one or all.

Led by: Barbara Lovejoy, MSW, CLYL ~ Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. Barbara has more than forty years professional experience in the field of personal/spiritual growth and wholistic well-being. ‘Barbara is a very skilled facilitator who helps bring out the best in us, and creates an atmosphere of innocence and complete acceptance. I haven’t laughed this long and this hard in years! We all had a blast! I enthusiastically recommend Laughter~Play Yoga to anyone who would enjoy expressing their joy-filled inner child.
