The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Petaluma Branch is celebrating the return to “in person gatherings” at the annual Fall Social on Saturday, September 18 at 1:30 PM at the Petaluma Community Center at Lucchesi Park Join us to celebrate the accomplishments of women and girls in Sonoma County. Engage with women in community leadership roles and discover the amazing women leaders of the future.
AAUW is a community of more than 170,000 people across our country advocating for education and equity for women and girls. We have seen the huge benefits to women and girls in education through Title IX. The organization is now taking on one of the most defining issues of our time: gender equity in the workplace and in communities.
The event will highlight the many opportunities available to current and potential members for a combination of advocacy, education, fun and friendship through monthly programs and small interest groups that include activities such as dining, bridge, hiking, book groups, gardening, etc. Both men and women who have obtained a minimum of an Associate of Arts degree are invited to join the organization.
