FIRST FRIDAY AT FIVE bike ride!!!

A fun group ride around town on the streets and trails of Petaluma!

When: this Friday June 2nd @ 5:00 PM

Where: Walnut Park in downtown Petaluma (Petaluma Boulevard South and D Street)

It’s fun for kids of all ages!!!

Bicycle vs car crosstown race!

Right before our First Friday ride, there will be a friendly crosstown race between Rick Holstedt, mild-mannered cyclist, on a bicycle and Nick Tribble, a professional race car driver (also a nice guy), in a car.

The race will start at 4:30 pm at the Lucchesi Community Center and finish on the north steps of City Hall. Rick is expected to arrive at 4:42; Nick at 4:49. (You know: traffic!). All traffic safety laws will be obeyed.

Bring noise makers!. Bike related signs are welcome.

The race will be videoed using helmet-mounted camera (with time stamps). The video will later be edited and posted.
