This 2-hour seminar will provide an overview of Stanford and the Compassion Institute’s Compassion Cultivation Training. CCT is an 8-week program that is rooted in contemplative wisdom and in modern psychology. It fosters compassion for oneself and for others, while also enhancing resilience, increasing a sense of connection to oneself and to others, bolstering self-care and protecting against burnout. CCT is an 8-week transformative program that will be offered in Petaluma, January through March 2019. This training is suitable for anyone interested in using meditation to stregnthen acces to the power of compassion, including educators, healthcare providers, activists and others.
