Meet Credder. “We consider ourselves the Rotten Tomatoes for news. It’s our goal and mission to move the news industry from clicks to credibility,” said co-founder and CEO Chase Palmieri. “By that we mean we want to make it financially rewarding for quality journalism, that doesn’t have to compete for clicks.”
In 2016, the three founders of Credder moved into a Petaluma house where they worked fulltime jobs for two years, building Credder in their spare time. Two of the three founders even worked together at downtown Petaluma restaurant Risibisi, coming home late at night and to work on Credder into the early mornings. They group kept at it for two straight years before catching their big break from the founder of movie rating site “Rotten Tomatoes”. Credder has since been funded by top Silicon Valley investors, featured in TechCrunch, and this year they’re hoping to have many more people like you reviewing the articles you read.
