One of nature’s most versatile foods, mushrooms are a delicious way to add depth of flavor and nutritional value to any meal. Whether you are an experienced forager or a novice eager to learn the names of a few different species, this hands on class will provide you with recipes to incorporate mushrooms into appetizers, entrees and even desserts! Chef Daniel Kedan of Backyard Restaurant will be returning to the Wind & Rye Kitchen to teach this class. He will discuss the important role fungi play in our local ecosystem, highlight varieties that can be found growing wild in Northern California and also provide resources for purchasing organic mushrooms cultivated right here in Sonoma County!
