Andrew Kimbrell is a public interest attorney, author, and advocate for sustainable agriculture. He is the founder and executive director of the Center for Food Safety in Wash., DC and the International Center for Technology Assessment (ICTA). He is the president of the board of Humane Farm Animal Care and served as the policy director at the Foundation of Economic Trends. He was named one of the 100 leading visionaries in the world by the Utne Reader and was named one of the “50 people who could save the planet” by The Guardian. He has initiated several successful legal cases against polluters, including three against Monsanto. He is the author of The Human Body Shop: The Cloning, Engineering, and Marketing of Life.
