Volunteer for Measure M – Parks for All!

Dear Park Lovers,

We need your help volunteering on the Yes on M – Parks for All campaign over the next 7 weeks! Volunteer sign ups are HERE.

Regional Parks has been working with the community on a plan to address the challenges our county parks face. This newly developed countywide plan proposes a 1/8-cent sales tax dedicated just to parks, including the parks inside our cities, which will generate $11.5 million per year for 10 years. At 0.125%, it would add just three cents to the cost of a $25 purchase.

If passed, two-thirds of the funds raised would go to county parks and one-third would go to cities for our neighborhood parks. Our campaign slogan, “Parks for All”, highlights that funds raised through this measure will expand and enhance our parks for every resident in Sonoma County.

Our parks need help. These new funds will maintain parks, trails & open spaces, help protect water quality, reduce future wildfire risk, protect wildlife habitats and fisheries, and improve access to serve more visitors, now and for future generations.

Now is the time to pass Measure M and achieve our goals, and we cannot do this without your help. Winning ⅔ of the vote requires hoards of volunteers reaching out to tens of thousands of voters. We have 7 short weeks to give it our all. Please sign up to volunteer today!

Immediate volunteer shifts include phone banks, precinct walks, tabling at events, data entry, and sign distribution. Other activities will be added along the way. Please sign up as much as you can, and please share and share again. Click HERE to volunteer!
